Inspiration

Kassandra's Prophecy is a traditional 78-card tarot deck with a Greco-Roman theme drawn in an Art Nouveau style. I was inspired to create this deck while I was learning about Greek and Roman mythology. As I explored these myths, I began seeing connections between the stories and the Raider-Waite tarot, and I decided to bridge the two and bring this deck to life. Because mythology was rooted in oral tradition, the stories evolved over time and varied across regions. This dynamic nature of story telling is what makes mythology so special and enduring. I believe what makes this deck unique is its connection between the myths and the traditional Raider-Waite tarot, making it easy to learn Greek and Roman mythology while also giving your tarot readings a new twist.

A large collection of Tarot cards, including The Empress, Queen of Cups, The Lovers, The Fool, The Wheel of Fortune, Justice, Death, and others, spread out in a scattered manner, displaying various images and symbols.

I am Cassandra—she who, without asking, understood it all and still came to her fate,

I, Cassandra, full of visions, who sees her own death without turning away, and hears in the night the day that follows.
